Bantwal Rural Police Station Police seizes house/illegal slaughterhouse of accused in cattle slaughter case.

Hasanabba, a resident of Maripalla in Pudu village under Bantwal Rural Police Station, is an Assamese who is involved in cases like cow theft and cow slaughter. He has been arrested in a case registered against him under Section 303 BNS Section 4,7,12 Cow Preservation Act and 11(d) Cow Slaughter Prohibition Act and has been produced before the Honorable ACJ and JMFC Court. And in the year 2017, cases have been registered against him under Section 379 IPC and 4,5,11 of the Cow Preservation Act and 11(L) of the Cow Slaughter Prohibition Act, and in the year 2008, cases have been registered under Section 379 IPC and 4,5,11 of the Cow Preservation Act and 11(L) of the Cow Slaughter Prohibition Act. And he is involved in a cow theft case and is constructing a slaughterhouse at home without any license and slaughtering and selling the stolen cattle.

To control him, a report has been submitted to the Assistant Commissioner and Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Mangalore Sub-Division to seize the slaughterhouse he has illegally constructed at home.

Accordingly, the Assistant Commissioner and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mangalore Sub-Division, under Section 8(4) 8(5) of the Karnataka Cattle Slaughter Prevention and Protection Act, 2020, dated: 25/09/2025, vide Case No. M.A.G/S.R.44/2025, Police Station No. 123/2025, has seized the house/illegal slaughterhouse belonging to Hasanabba at House No. 6-54 and 6-54(1) at Maripalla Padi under Pudu Gram Panchayat limits and taken it into the custody of the government.

*This is the first time that a house/illegal slaughterhouse has been seized in such a case in Dakshina Kannada district*
